"Throughout my education and working experiences, I have realized that I can help people finding their individual,   authentic performance presence. My artistic aim is to create work that is challenging and open for exploration and  social interaction within a simple and set frame. I want to inspire new audiences, reengage viewers who are familiar with contemporary dance, motivate different dance artists to trust in their skills and engage them to practice and create dance for each and everyone."

Annika Kompart is a professional dancer/ performer, choreographer and teacher, originally from Germany, DE but based in Copenhagen, DK since 2015.
“Since visiting Denmark last year, I found myself smiling, whilst traveling through the country, not because of the strong wind, but because I felt home. It was the first time, since a while. The nature and the sea, the air, the wind, suddenly reminded me of good memories in my childhood. I feel somehow connected to the Danish serenity and temper.”

Recently, she received Danish Arts Council Funding to support her work We Are not Unique, together with Ida Frost and My Lambertsen, that premiered at Teater Momentum in Odense DK.
Her new work TREFFPUNKT SPEECH(LESS) will be presented at Bãdteatret  CPH in January. This is a staging of EXPERIMENT SPEECH(LESS), which has been trough a two weeks residency at Forsøgsstationen DK.
